Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how 28 Day Transformation ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information in the 28 Day Transformation iOS app (the "App"). We built the App to be private by design: your workout, weight, nutrition, and photo data belong to you, and we do not sell it, use it for advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.

Information we collect

• Account identifier. When you create an account we use Sign in with Apple. Apple provides us a unique identifier and, if you allow it, a name and a private relay email. The App itself sends no email and uses no password.
• Your quiz answers. The goal, focus area, fitness level, time commitment, and the daily habits you choose during onboarding, used to personalize your plan.
• Health & fitness data you enter. Your body-weight entries, workout and recovery completions, daily nutrition habit check-offs, and streaks.
• Progress photos (optional). Photos you choose to take are stored on your device. If you enable backup, they are copied to private cloud storage that only your account can access. Photos are never shared unless you explicitly choose to share them.
• Subscription status. Whether your free trial or subscription is active. Purchases are processed by Apple; we receive transaction and entitlement status (not your card details) through our subscription provider.
• Usage & setup analytics. To understand how people move through onboarding and to improve the App, we record the screens you view and the answers you select during the setup quiz — including the body measurements you enter (current weight, goal weight, height) and your age range — together with a randomly-generated device identifier and basic technical details (app version, platform). This is collected from the moment you start setup, before any account is created, and does not include your name. It is first-party only: it is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to track you across other apps or websites. If you create an account it is linked to that account, and deleting your account permanently erases it.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not use advertising identifiers (no IDFA) and serve no ads.
• We do not use third-party analytics or marketing SDKs — our usage analytics is first-party only (described above) and stays within our own systems.
• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not provide medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and we do not collect calories, macros, or meal data — only simple habit check-offs.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to operate the App: to build and show your personalized 28-day plan, record your progress, back up and sync your data across your devices, manage your subscription, and send the local reminders you turn on (these are scheduled on your device, not sent from a server).

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers that process data on our behalf:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple, and App Store subscription billing.
• Supabase — hosts our database and private photo storage. Your records are protected by row-level security so they are accessible only to your account.
• RevenueCat — manages your subscription entitlement using purchase information from Apple.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while your account exists so your progress is preserved between rounds and across devices. You can delete everything at any time: the in-app Delete account option wipes your records and stored files from our cloud database and storage, and removes the App's local data from your device. You may also contact us to request deletion.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted, and your cloud records are isolated per account through row-level security so other users cannot read them. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can turn reminders on or off, choose whether to take or back up photos, edit or delete your entries, and delete your account at any time from within the App. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
